7th Semester

The last few posts Andrew's been out of the picture because he's been busy wearing a monkey suit for daily donkey and goat exams, wearing scrubs for donkey, goat, pig, dog and cat surgeries, and wearing his brain out studying for his last classes of vet school. Seven semesters are almost complete!

During emergency rotation Andrew and his team saved this dog who was hit by a car. The poor pup needed blood transfusions and surgeries for his broken bones.

It was a real miracle that he lived and recovered so completely.

My cousin Maddie came to visit us last week. Our days were watery and scrumptious and we wish she could've stayed many more weeks.

My dear friend Stephanie got married in Sonoma this weekend. Together with my best friends since high school, we stood by her side up at the alter. It was a weekend of the best food, the best friends and the prettiest wedding in the world. I'm happy I remembered the camera this time.

Back on De Island

After a very long break in the states (without a camera) we are back for one last island semester. While Andrew is castrating pigs, spaying pups and anesthetizing donkeys, Calvin and I will be spending the next 95 days basking in the sea.
